It’s all as simple as opening the app, finding the closest gym, selecting your favorite sport and checking-in.

Born to disrupt
In 2012, two MBA candidates from Harvard and MIT and one economist specialized in business performance created Gympass to disrupt the health & wellness market with a shared economy solution.
They were determined to improve the way companies perceived wellness programs to prove that everyone could find time to exercise, no matter their location, doing activities they love.
Today Gympass has operations in more than 10 countries, including the US, with a network of more than 23,000 gyms, boutique studios and boot camps around the world.
Our business model is now trusted and backed by many other bright entrepreneurs, like the founders of Booking.com, Skype, Mercado Livre and by the investors of Facebook and Netflix. We partner with companies such as PWC, Santander and Unilever to help their employees to achieve a healthier lifestyle. We won’t stop until we’ve brought health & wellness to people all over the world.

Meet the Gympassers
When I joined Gympass, family and friends questioned me: why are you resigning from a great position to join an unknown startup? (have you gone crazy?!)
As most Gympassers, I have always been on a good trajectory: good education, fast growth in large multinationals… But I also had the feeling I was just an employee number doing a job without much purpose. I was looking for an opportunity to fill that gap.
At Gympass, I’ve been given the opportunity to help people lead healthier lives, while working with an incredibly talented team who embrace and live out the Gympass values daily. To me, the way we do business inspires me as much as our performance. This challenging environment with very talented people was exactly what I needed in my career and I am so happy I joined!
Jean-Philippe LorinquerMy decision to join Gympass was actually easy. When interviewing, it was clear that everyone was very passionate about the business. I previously worked in a VC fund meeting startups every day but Gympass clearly stood out! After joining, I understood why: everyone is highly committed to improving our users’ quality of life. There is nothing more rewarding than receiving feedback from our users that our hard work has had a positive impact on their lives.
I started as Director of Customer Support, and in less than a year, I expanded my scope to Director of Operations for Brazil.
